I don’t know how to handle this Psychology question and need guidance.
During the early days of neuroscience, neurosurgeons would cut away brain segments to see how it affected the person, which enabled them to learn the function of different brain segments. Assume that the surgeons were trying to learn how respiration worked in this same manner. Which body or brain parts, if removed, would affect respiration (inhalation and exhalation)?
