Why do you believe, based on your own ideas and on what you’ve read, the inhabitants of cultures like those of Easter Island and Mesoamerica undertook monumental works of architecture and sculpture despite the difficulties of accomplishing them? What other cultures already studied created similar works? How do the reasons for their works compare with those of the “New World” artists?
