For this assignment, write a descriptive paragraph with a specific topic sentence that is proved by sensory details (taste, touch, smell, hearing/sound) and think about showing not telling. Show the reader why, and consider using devices like words that are spelled and pronounced like they sound (crash, thunk), and similes using like and as (the sky was as dark as the night).
Write one paragraph about one of these topics the rain sound, the coffee smell, or the sky.
