For this week, re-read the Perez family case study and applying information identified in your textbook chapters 2 & 3 and one outside scholarly peer-reviewed source address the following questions:
1. Martina (age 3) is always by her mother’s side. When the family moved to the U.S., Martina had been out of diapers for quite a while and now seems to be experiencing quite a few accidents, as well as regressing in her use of vocabulary words. Identify the red flags or areas of concern regarding the behaviors Martina is exhibiting.
2. Identify the areas of concern regarding Martina’s family and environment that may hinder her social skills and language development.
