Is new media art changing the original form of art?
New media art refers to artworks created with new media technologies, including digital art, virtual art, Internet art, interactive art, video games, computer robotics, 3D printing, cyborg art and so on.
In the past, books about art history recorded materials in the form of pictures. However, the emergence of new media art will make it impossible for us to use traditional prints in the future, but we must match them with certain Sound and video. Just like many people collect movies, the history of new media art may be a history of audiovisual art.
Art can only be shown on painting paper in the past. However, with the advancement of new technologies and the emergence of new forms of human communication, new media art is breaking this passive art appreciation approach, emerging in an interactive, conversational way of viewing.
