Term Paper will cover the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), Non-Judicial Punishment (NJP), the three types of court martial, and the different types of discharges. You will have to describe the types of court martial, maximum punishments, who can convene a court martial, the types of discharges, and how those discharges can affect a member’s life as a civilian. You must also list the types of punishment a member can receive under the non-judicial punishment system.
The paper should be eight (8) pages in length, including the Title, Abstract, and Reference pages. The paper must also have a minimum of five (5) resources and follow APA formatting standards. You must complete the paper using Microsoft Word and use 12-point Times New Roman font and double-spacing. Visual images and infographics do not count toward the final page count and must not be copied/taken from other sources. Proper grammar, punctuation, correct spelling, and other aspects of correct composition should be maintained.
