1.) In the clip, Dr. Lieberman discussed the severity of Robin William’s co-occurring depression with a substance use disorder. What would be some treatment options for someone like Robin Williams who is coping with severe depression?
2.) The link between depression (or any mental disorder) and suicide is very high. Additionally, the elderly seem to be at greatest risk for committing suicide. If you knew of someone who was feeling suicidal, what could be some steps you could take to help that person get the treatment they need?
