What is the evidence for settled village life (sedentism) during the Late Woodland period? Include in your answer discussion of the archaeological evidence of the presence of year-round settlements and the significance of the burials at the Aqueduct and Archery Range sites. Was settled village life dependent on agriculture in the NYC metropolitan region? What were the natural resources of the NYC region during the Late Woodland that people could have used as the basis for year-round villages in addition to or instead of agriculture?
