Instructions

  1. After reading the guidelines carefully, choose a topic for your paper from the Paper Topics list. You must choose a topic from this list.
  2. Your journal entry needs to be set-up with each question below listed and then an answer provided.

Be sure that you are listing the question, answering, listing the next question, answering: Example below:

    • What are two or three questions about specific issues related to your topic: What happens during the recycling process. How long do recyclables remain in a landfill before being recycled.
    • Briefly research your topic to see if any of these questions have already been answered or if researchers are still looking for answers: According to Livia Ripka (2018) recyclables are remaining in landfills due to the exporting of recyclables to China ceasing.
  1. Next, as a journal entry, write the following question and then answer the corresponding question about the topic that you’ve chosen:
    a. What are two or three questions about specific issues related to your topic?
    b. Briefly research your topic to see if any of these questions have already been answered or if researchers are still looking for the answers.
    c. Next, consider if there are different perspectives on the issues or if theories have changed over time.
    d. Finally, think about what purpose you want to have when conducting your research. What research question do you want to answer?
