Throughout the course thus far we have discussed such topics as child development, the evolution of childhood, the impact of race on the experience of childhood and the role that Children’s Studies plays in evaluating these topics.
In a 3-page paper discuss the ways in which “childhood” as a stage of life has evolved over time and how this stage is impacted by race, culture, religion, gender, socioeconomic status, etc. How do these areas impact children and youth studies? Are there areas that that you feel should be further addressed in this field? (All the articles needed for the essay are attached below)
