Base your reflection on the resources provided.
• Section 1- Glucose in Drinks
• Section 2- pH in biological systems
• Section 3- Gases around us: ‘The Chemistry of Airbags’ article and the reading attached to the calculation you chose.

2. Now that you have done the calculations and read the WHO information in Section 1, have you learned new things about sugars you did not know before. How much more aware are you about sugars in our diet? Think about the calculations you completed in Section 1 and the drink you analysed, elaborate on your answer to Task 3 in Section 1.
3. What in your opinion is the importance of being able carry out calculations about acids and bases for health professionals?
4. How does being able to carry out calculations involving gases enhance our lives when looking at the three readings provided in Section 3?

Remember: Your reflection should show your analysis of the topics covered with a relation to real life and/or the health profession that you are hoping to move into. For example, you may wish to use the sugary drink you focused on in Section 1 as a lead in to discuss the amount of sugar in an average diet and any long-term health implications.
