For this assignment, your task is to prepare a complete construction budget estimate for a small office building project using the budget spreadsheet template attached to this assignment. You may suggest an alternative building of your choice if you choose to do so. This can be a project you are involved with or very familiar with, but please keep the scope manageable and preferably comparable to the one suggested.

Submit the completed Excel worksheet to the assignment on Brightspace course website. This cost will be used as the benchmark for your analysis in following assignments.

Building size

100 ft x 100 ft with 25 ft by 25 ft structural bays; 15 ft floor-floor height, two levels

Building floors

6” slab on grade with troweled finish; 24” x 24” x 12” spread footings for columns; above-grade occupied floors are poured in place concrete on 18 gauge 3” deep corrugated steel deck; roof deck is lightweight concrete on the same steel deck

Building envelope

Brick walls; loose-laid and ballasted 60 mil EPDM roof membrane

Elevators and stairs

Two 2500 lb. capacity hydraulic elevators, two sets of 3’-6” wide straight stairs with 18 risers each and wall mounted handrails both sides

Please solve 3 problems (1 question for each problem). Problem 1 is compulsory. Please choose either problem 2 or problem 3. Problem 4 and 5 are the same. Please choose either one. Please also provide all the steps needed to solve the problem. THanks!

Let me know if you have any questions. These problems are advance chemical engineering kinetics.

## Post Discussion: Five 5 major electrical systems in a smart phone

Now that you have understood the realms of electrical engineering and know few examples from each of the five major classification of electrical system, let’s discuss the following topic. It is an introductory topic and you will have opportunity to learn how discussions will be conducted in this course.

You can use as many sources as you need and it can go over a page no worries at all
Prompt:
Imagine that CSUB is going to build a permanent, on-site library. To honor
the idea of sustainability and natural process, what design features would you
want them to include? Should there be gardens or lots of wood or piped-in
sounds of birds? The wind blows strongly in spring; should wind be used for
energy (or art)? Assume that we need to stay on some kind of budget, but that
within that, the design is up to you. Cite sources and give examples, please.

This is a MATLAB project that involves solving a physics problem by determining critical pressures that would cause a stable dynamic system to become unstable. The textbook for this class is ‘Applied Numerical Methods with MATLAB for Engineers and Scientists (4th Edition)’. The instructions are in the pdf file.

I do NOT need the whole paper. I just want the introduction and methods sections. Anything to do with results, discussion or data analysis do NOT do. All the info is in the file labeled “instructions”. The 3 lab protocols are attached as week 9, week10, and week 11. The protocols referenced in week 9 files are also attached. please read everything and add a reference list at the end of the sources used.

You may choose one topic from the NAE grand challenges. I suggest something along the lines of providing access to clean water. But you may choose what you feel best about writing. I have included all the study material required to understand the writing objective. I will also attach an example layout on how the paper should be written as well as an overview.

## to design my own game for the midterm It is a game that criticizes witch hunts, one of the customs of the Medievals era in Europe. Through the game, I want to tell if the true villain is a witch or a citizen. Witch (protagonist) is commissioned (receive request)by the socially disadvantaged or ordinary citizens and try to help them. The witch’s main enemy is humans with false social ideas. In other words, the social concept of that era turned humans into villains. I would appreciate it if you design the game and strength my idea according to the form of the assignment based on this setting. You don’t have to do “art work” ex)making logos, drawing characters for me.

Simple ideas of settings Title- witch-hunting Platform- For android and IOS Tagline- Who is the villan? Target player demographic- 12 ages How to play- touching the screen using joystick and press buttos Game screen Left Joystick – To move characters, Direction buttons- select Right Joystick- change the visions, selecting inventory Dash or using Item Main actions Ex) Jump or attack See the missions/ Game settings See the game player’s profile Game map saving game Storylines An innocent woman get killed by witch-hunting. She is reincarnated from injustice and becomes a real witch. In the Medieval era in Europe , witches were symbols of evil. However, nowadays it is believed that this was a strange custom of harming innocent people. Therefore the enemy in this story is real citizens, (human) not witches. The witch (protagonist) punishes the villains in the village Storymode Quest modes- Clear missions in witch school prevent witch-hunting in the village receive requests from the citizens Mini games- avoiding the poo Candidates (The players may use weapons to fight ex) Maple story) Play- individual play or multi play Genre- Adventure, Discovery, hero Main goals of the game- Entertain Background- Forest-> Village in Europe (church) , Timeline- Medieval Music mood- Gloomy->Fast tempo->peaceful Character settings Protagonists- Characteristics – Righteous, using magic, items (Co- Protagonists for multiplay) – cooperative NPC- Enemies, Allies, guardians, Enemies- citizens npc Throw rock against witches Allies- Real witches Healing zone- Bar in the village- Women, Jews, Muslims, homosexuals, migrant workers – Socially excluded people and those who can be a victim of a witch are the and assistance of the witch( protagonist) . Background
The master plan for Stapleton depicts Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard connecting with Peoria
Street. The City of Denver and Forest City Developments have decided to build this MLK extension
through the property adjacent to Sand Creek Park. The endpoints of this route are i) on Havana
Way near the Bluff Lake Nature Center and ii) on Peoria Street near the Fitzsimons Parkway.
The goal of this design project is to develop the alignment for this roadway. Teams of three
students will work together to complete this project. An AutoCad map of the site is available for
your use. Keep in mind that this existing topography file represents the existing grading conditions
before the Stapleton development. Thus, everything west of Havana is now developed. The
Existing Roadway (Filing 15) file will show you some of that area and the Existing Roadway (MLK)
file will fill in the existing Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
As part of this effort, I would like you to research the concept of a ‘road diet’ and determine
whether such a design might be a better choice not only for this section of MLK but for the entire
stretch through this part of Denver.
