Hello, my name is Susana Ramirez. I would like to introduce myself and provide you with some of my nursing backgrounds. I have over eight years of experience in the nursing field. I became a registered nurse in 2014 and specialized in critical care until 2019. In pursuance of my goal to further my education, I completed the Master of Nursing Science at the University of Miami in August 2018 I have been practicing as an Advanced registered nurse practitioner at the University of Miami caring for gastrointestinal and liver disease patients. For the past year, I have been a clinical faculty member in the MSN program at Florida National University, and this new role opened my eyes to the world of education and was one of the driving factors to pursue my Doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) here at Frontier.
